Overview

The 100 West Walnut development project provides a modern, mixed-use extension of historic Old Pasadena in Southern California. Located in the heart of Pasadena, the 6.4-acre site includes residential units, commercial office space, retail and dining, as well as three levels of parking.

Exante360 Contribution

Exante360 was responsible for providing design and consulting services for all ICT systems throughout the office building and parking garage. The systems included structured cabling and technology rooms, IT network, Wi-Fi, access control, video surveillance, emergency phones, area of refuge communications, and a distributed antenna system (DAS).

Benefit to the Client

Two major benefits stand out on this project. Exante360's coordination with the residential design team was imperative to ensure a seamless operation of all systems. Ahead of the main project, Exante360 provided design and consulting for a underground utility make-ready scope for a neighbor affected by the construction.

Operations Perspective

Existing underground duct banks housing mission critical data and voice cables had to be demolished and relocated to accommodate the new construction. Exante360 navigated this challenge by working closely with both the client and architect involved.
