Fire Alarm/Life Safety
Our in-depth code knowledge with a strong emphasis on fire and life safety codes gives Exante360 the ability and know-how to assist our clients in navigating and interpreting the myriad of building codes, standards and regulations governing the design of fire alarm, life safety, and mass notification systems. This allows us to provide our clients with appropriate occupancy based system designs in compliance with the California Building Code, NFPA72, UL, ANSI and all other applicable standards; meeting the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
- Emergency communication
- Mass notification
- Smoke control
- Fire suppression system interface
- Areas of refuge communications

- Facility radio systems
Master Clocks
Exante360 can define operating requirements, evaluate potential technology solutions, and develop purchasing criteria. Service capabilities include:
- Master antenna
- Signal repeater systems
- Synchronized clocks
- Clock system integration (nurse call and code blue)
- Time and attendance systems
Healthcare IT
Nurse Call systems are a critical component of the technology infrastructure in a clinical care facility. Exante360 can assist in the placement of nurse call system components and the development of detailed specifications. This would include defining system capabilities similar to the following:
- Nurse call
- Operating systems integration
- Patient infotainment
- Patient monitoring
- Infant protection
- Elopement management
- Clock systems
- Asset tracking
- Real time locating system (RTLS)
Building Audio
Services for the expansion of an existing building-wide paging system include:
- Overhead paging
- Phone system integration
- Sound masking
- Mass notification
- Distributed audio
- Structured cabling
Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement Systems (ERCES)
In-Building Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems are an extension of the public safety radio network. They are codes required for new construction projects by many jurisdictions in 2021. ERCES uses a series of small antennas called a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to receive or transmit radio signals from the first responder network. Service capabilities include:
- Distributed antenna system (DAS)
- Fire rated pathways and spaces
- Equipment rooms
- Structured cabling
Structured Cabling
Infrastructure cabling is the backbone for a variety of systems and services. Exante360 can design the structured cabling system (indoor & outdoor) to accommodate each of these systems according to current industry standards, information technology requirements specified by the project, and by leveraging our experience on similar projects. The systems typically supported via this infrastructure are:
- Twisted pair copper
- Fiber optics
- Passive optical network (PON)
- Technology distribution room (TDR/TR)
- Cable conveyance (cable tray, ladder rack, etc.)
- Vertical riser systems
Technology Room Design
Exante360 is capable of designing Technology Distribution Rooms (TDRs) to house local servers, networking equipment, security panels, etc. (Approximately one for every 20,000 sf of space). Exante360 can provide the following services for the design of a server room and telecom equipment rooms:
- Develop reliability criteria
- Develop electrical, mechanical, security, and technology requirements
- Coordination with electrical, mechanical, and architectural teams
- Communications infrastructure design (inside and outside plant)
- Detailed rack and equipment cabinet elevations
Voice Over IP
Exante360 is equipped to define the operating requirements, evaluate potential technology solutions, and develop purchasing criteria. We can provide the following services:
- Handsets
- Network switches
- Routers
- Servers
- Structured cabling
In addition to these services, Exante360 can coordinate the integration between the phone system and a variety of technology, such as the Nurse Call, Wireless Personal Communications Devices, and Wireless Phone Systems.
Wireless LAN System
Exante360 can provide the design and consulting necessary for a building-wide 802.11 Wireless Data Network (WLAN). We are equipped to assist with the evaluation and recommendation of wireless networking equipment. We can also coordinate with electrical engineers, IT Departments, and/or architects.
- Antenna placement
- Antenna appearance (aesthetics)
- Hardware requirements (end-user and back-end)
- Security concerns/planning assistance
- Power requirements (conventional or inline power if selected)
- Bandwidth requirements as identified for specific applications per project
