Overview

With its main campus in Oceanside, California, MiraCosta Community College District consists of two colleges in Oceanside and Cardiff. The District is in the process of expanding and renovating building infrastructure thanks to measure MM, a $455M bond passed in November 2016.

Exante360 Contribution

Exante360 was awarded the position of campus security consultant, managing security system design for all new construction and renovation projects. We generated ready-for-competitive-bidding construction documents for various buildings across the district. We also performed construction administration, punch list and system commissioning.

Benefit to the Client

In addition to delivering services responsibly, timely, and cost-effectively, Exante360 has been able to reach beyond our scope of work on several occasions. Despite our corporate footprint across the United States, Exante360's key leadership team is located nearby Miracosta. This proximity has made it possible to attend events on campus during which we have been able to give back to the local community.

Operations Perspective

Miracosta leverages standards and templates to achieve uniformity in placement, technology as well as day-to-day use of the systems. Such approach makes it possible to achieve the appropriate level of security that is required in modern day campus environments.
